I have been through divorce, financial struggles, and parent’s health. I had been floating in my spiritual journey for years before I this church did a “laying on of hands” with me.
I was going through a divorce I was hopeless and helpless. I was teetering on taking my own life. I went to the pastor & the associate pastor, as a male I did the unthinkable. I bared my soul and talked about my feelings and burdens. I did not know what “laying on of hands or anointed” was or meant. I did not care. I was hurting. I was really hurting. I was on bended knees.
The minute I allowed the pastor to do “healing hands” on me I felt love… unconditional love. My burdens where lifted and the world got brighter. I still had the problems but I was at peace with the event.
Columbia Presbyterian is a conservative church. They are making a difference in my life. I am now an elder at Columbia Presbyterian church. If you hurt ask for a spiritual healing.
